The War On Fear

 Print this page

Author: Tom Butler

I myself was consumed by the fear that the government filtered throughout the media. It was everywhere, terror, terror, terror! You couldn't miss it. Now I look back and wonder how I could have been so naïve. How could I not notice what the hawks were trying to do? Members of congress couldn't even see it. Makes you wonder who's behind this. Not just the Bush administration. No. Something much larger and well thought out.

There's been talk for years about underground societies and groups which control the government. These beliefs can really take a toll on you. The pieces really start to come together, they develop as the events hit the papers and the TV screen. Planes crashing, video tapes being destroyed, members leaving the administration, unanswered questions about 9/11, undeniable ties with the Bin Laden's. The evidence stacks like pancakes.

Bush is just a puppet, like every other president. He's not vetoing a damn thing, he's being told what to accept and what not to accept.

I hope that you question your government. Don't believe every detail that the media gives you. They themselves are not entirely sure of what they're reporting.

The Republican debates are an obvious display of initiation into the conservative realm of power. Each candidate is tested on their ability to display masculinity and a knowledge of fear. Rudy Giuliani is a master of using his experience with 9/11 as a presentation of his ability to control a disastrous situation. He filters the fear through that event in order to play a mind trick on voters. It's easy to remember how you felt during those days. It's easy for him to remind you of how you felt. This tactic is a strong source which all presidential candidates use in order to capture the attention of vulnerable voters.

Just realize what they are trying to do. Don't dwell their motives of frightening you. You the voter decide when to be afraid, not them.
